Agape Love

​On a clear night when the light of the stars reaches from the furthest distances in time and space and the silence grows into a deepness beyond sound, there is a peace that begins to well up within me that surpasses any earthly feeling. Within this light and silence there is an abundance of love that surpasses any other love. This is agape love, which is the love from the Creative Spirit and which is expressed between spirits on all planes. It is a manifested selfless and compassionate love. It contains no tinge of ego. It is the love energy that is the basis of miracles because nothing can break its vibrational pull toward the highest good.
 
As we stand up to the waves of acrimonious, belligerent meanness and cruelty that are flowing from those in power, we need to be fortified by this agape love and allow our spirits to thrive within its energy. We need to join together so that this highest love energy grows into a great beacon of communal love so bright and so broad it eclipses the encroaching darkness. When we allow ourselves to accept and transmit agape love, we can truly be the change we wish to see in the world. We can create miracles. We can overcome intolerance. We can truly accept each other as being a part of the same moment of creation. We can find the fortitude to stand up and stand together to vanquish willful ignorance and cruelty through compassionate kindness. We can, through agape love, through that spiritual love that is more powerful than any other force in the universe, create a more inclusive and nurturing world.
