Socrates said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” When we do not give thought to our lives and the impulses we are following, we find ourselves swirling in an eddy of self-doubt and lack of self-knowledge. We allow shallow impulses to guide us rather than seeking the higher source of light and love. When we wallow in the darkness and abandon the hope that can sustain us through difficult times, we lose our way and purpose. We doubt the earth beneath our feet and the nature of the sky above. We do not have to allow the darkness of others to encroach on our lives. We can seek to live in and of the light. Examine your life with an open mind and an eager heart and you will awaken to the answers you seek. Namaste!

I am in the process of editing my book TSUNAMI OF LIGHT and came across this passage, which I thought might be of use right now. "Across the universe the Creative Spirit smiled. She knew it was as she envisioned and also that it was but a momentary respite, a lull in the battle that had begun in that first spark when darkness personified to challenge the light. This was the lesson she had created as the first lesson—light needed to recognize its power and regain and retain sovereignty to eventually, in time that was eternal, eradicate the darkness that, she knew, would never win, but would always serve as a challenge in order that good would learn the full extent of its power for love."
