Fear

Fear. Some is real and some is not. There is the fear we feel when we are justifiably afraid of a potentially harmful reality, like a rattlesnake poised to bite, versus the fear foisted on us by those who base their power on keeping us afraid of irrational and imaginary fears. The latter is the basis for most dogmas, both religious and political. The former is given to us as a natural sense for self-protection and preservation. The rattlesnake can, indeed harm us. But a nebulous fear of, for example, a hell that does not exist, is only meant to control us. We would do best to be as wary of the fear induced by calculated words as we are of the snake ready to pounce. Remember—we are all spirits, living a physical experience, together and right now. That which tries to divide us belies the truth that we are One. Namaste!
