As we examine our life and our lives, we find certain notes that keep sounding, that repeat over and over again because we are not quite grasping the lessons within the experiences. From one life to another, we are given certain opportunities to learn and to grow from that learning. These lessons are not imposed by a willful entity, but instead, are ones we ourselves know we must learn in order to grow and attain the next level of awareness. When we find ourselves repeating patterns of behavior, especially those that provide a measure of discomfort in their repetition, we need to stop and examine what it is in those experiences that is similar and discern what lesson it is we are ignoring in our haste to move to the next moment.
