Because you are connected to other spirits through the interdependent web, you can meet someone and act and react based on your spirit’s recognition of the other spirit. Do you experience an immediate liking or loathing of that person based on nothing that has happened to inform you of that person’s background, beliefs, or state of mind? When this happens, you are experiencing your spirit’s memory of a different incarnation with that person. Dislike at first sight can be your spirit remembering a past adversarial relationship. This person may have been someone with whom you shared a violent event or a harsh dependency. Love at first sight is often a recall of a deep and abiding emotional bond with that person. A past loving and caring existence together is warmly remembered and both of your spirits reach toward that familiar security. When our spirits meet after separation, our memories of other incarnations together inform our reactions and actions. Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. Since all time is now and all space is here, all of our lifetimes are occurring at the same time. When we suddenly have a feeling of knowing something we could not otherwise know or we seem to be aware of alternative actions we are performing, we are experiencing a connection to those other lifetimes. For example, you are washing the dishes, looking out the window, and not thinking of anything in particular. Suddenly you are aware of yourself reading to a small child by candlelight. This is an awareness of another incarnation of your spirit experiencing a different manifestation in the illusion of time. The simultaneous knowledge of our lifetimes can be disconcerting, but also informative of the totality of our being. Past life recall becomes more accessible when we realize we are remembering a simultaneously occurring incarnation. Sit quietly and remember all that you are! We never have to experience anything as a solitary being in the universe. We always have help available to us 24/7. Just as we could call a friend or family member for help on this plane, we can also appeal not only to those in spirit for guidance and help, but also to our spirit self, which is always connected to the All. With practice, we can discern the voice of spirit and learn to trust the input that we receive when we ask. One way to do this is to remember to keep a notebook in which to write both our questions and needs and the responses we receive. Over time, it will become apparent that there is an unmistakable conversation occurring through which we can receive guidance and help. Spirit is available to help us on our path through this life. We only need to ask for help and listen well. Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. This is because we are sustained within the interdependent web that provides both the pathways we travel and the net to catch us should we falter. When we become overwhelmed by the whirling storms that threaten our equilibrium, we have the means to return to a state of calm no matter what is occurring in our environment. Sit quietly, eyes closed, and concentrate on inhaling and exhaling. Imagine and know the still center that rests within your spiritual core. From this space of peace, release your tension and distress into the interdependent web, knowing this negative energy will be dissipated and dispersed, rendering it powerless over your life. When we release the negative energy, we can meet anything from the position of positive love energy. Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. Did we show empathy and strive to raise the condition of those around us? Or were we self-centered, miserly, mean, cruel, bereft of empathy? Did we inflict pain rather than comfort? Whatever we did or did not do in one lifetime can have implications for all of our lives, sustaining a series of events that will continue to present themselves until the positive vanquishes the negative and the higher realization of the best we can be is actualized. When we can return both kindness and cruelty with a strong and discerning heart, we meet the challenge to raise the vibrational levels of the All. What we do or do not do in this lifetime will have a future impact. Practice daily acting and reacting with and within the energy of love. If the sign does not fit into our concept of what constitutes a spirit communication, we ignore it, even if it fulfills our need for confirmation. If I am typing a blog about signs and suddenly one of my dad’s favorite songs begins to play, I could say it is a coincidence, or I could recognize it as a sign that he is checking in from the other side of the veil as confirmation of the ideas I am being encouraged to share. By examining the context, content, and timing of signs, we can begin to realize their validity. By accepting the validity of spirit communication, we are able to more readily give up fear and embrace life. Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. The basic instruction from the Creative Spirit seems, in general, to love each other and to love the One. This is a bit redundant because we are all aspects of the One, and in loving each other, we are automatically loving the One. All other rules of religion, then, need to be directly related to this call to love. Unfortunately, micromanaging seems to be the purview of those in power; in order to retain that power, many, many rules have been created over the years, written down, and set to serve as the basis for a wide variety of religions. Even though Masters have incarnated over the years to correct these dogmas, humankind has stubbornly decided to embellish the simple message into a complicated and convoluted one that invites all sorts of mischief and bad behavior. The message from the Masters echoes the simple one from the Creative Spirit: love each other, love the One. Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento; https://www.redbubble.com/shop/artbyjoy) We are not born into this world or into the next one as anything other than expressions of the Creative Spirit who asks only of us that we love each other and, in doing so, love the One. We are not guilty of some unnameable sin that casts us forever in a state of atonement. We are, instead, to always be aware of our at-one-ment within the Creative Spirit, which has infinitely better things to do than to sit in judgment of a man-made idea of reality. Because time exists as an illusion, and we are, in fact, living in a perpetual state of now, in which only the details appear to change, the Masters still exist with us, able to transcend planes of existence to impart their message of how we are to live within the One. Be free of dogma and live in love and joy! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento; https://www.redbubble.com/shop/artbyjoy) Because time exists in a state of now and space exists in a place of here, the idea of a beginning or an ending as understood in human terms is unthinkable in the mind of the Creative Spirit. We are, it is—there is no final day and ending to the world as we know it. The rapture that has been spoken of as part of some final day does not refer to an ending of existence. but rather the joy and bliss that we are to attain when we realize the truth of our existence. We are part of a universe that is always unfolding in love. In this, we are required to treat each other with kindness and compassion in order to fulfill the purpose of our being—to know we are as One within the interdependent web. We can misplace the car keys and miss an important meeting. We can turn right instead of left and find a new and delightful environment, or walk into a situation of peril. We can win the lottery or lose our home. When we live in mindfulness of our self in relation to the larger world, we can remain prepared for whatever comes our way, knowing that our lives are unfolding in the manner we planned to provide us with the lessons we need to learn. Losing a job, for example, can be frightening and distressful, but when we react in the moment from a place of calm, we can ask, with open and hopeful anticipation—What door is now opening to me? What am I learning through this experience and what am I to do next to best serve my spirit and the spirits around me? When we await the answer with an open heart, we realize we are in all things informed by the omniscient Creative Spirit that sustains us through the energy of love.
