“To everything there is a season.” Nothing happens until it is supposed to happen. We cannot hurry a result and expect it to be a good result. We must learn patience in order to allow the fulfillment of our needs and wants to manifest in our lives. Trying to make something happen before it is ready to happen is like expecting flowers to bloom in the snows of deep winter. You may plant the seed in the fall, but there will be no blooming until the conditions are just right—the ground must thaw, the flower must germinate, grow and break through the soil, reaching toward the warmer sun of spring. So it is with our endeavors. We must plant the seed of the future outcome and be patient, knowing that all things come to fruition in their time.
