Earth provides us with everything we need to survive and thrive. When we take care of the world around us, we are taking care of ourselves as well. When we bring harm to other beings and to the plants, the water, and the air, we are creating an environment that ceases to work in harmony. The chaos that ensues does not serve the vision of the Creative Spirit, but instead challenges our wellbeing. In these circumstances our growth becomes hindered, mired as it is in a constant pursuit of survival rather than peace and rising consciousness. When we walk our path mindfully with kindness and compassion, we give thanks for the planet that sustains us through the energy of love.
