Summer Solstice! Enjoy the day of long sunlight and breathe in the warm aromas of the garden and the heat of the earth. Go outside and try to feel yourself a part of the whole of nature. Look at a leaf, warm and full and realize that the leaf and you are made of the same basic materials that the Creative Spirit provides for physical expression. We are one with everything and an important aspect of the All. Sit quietly and feel the presence of the beings that share this illusion of space and time with you. Perhaps you will become aware of the fairy folk and devas of the garden. Maybe you will sense the nearness of loved ones in spirit who have come to enjoy this long summer day. Open your awareness further and perhaps you will see the shimmering golden light of the spirit realm that imbues each blade of grass and the very air around you.
