Our lives are best lived when we remain constantly aware of our existence in the interdependent web that informs and sustains us. With this awareness, we can avoid becoming mired in the sticky, muddy illusions of the moment. When we live in darkness, shielding ourselves from our participation in something far larger than our individual physical self, we are faced with constant worry and the deception that we are not in control of our lives. We thus prevent our progress and growth as we focus on the challenges that seem to populate our lives like uncontrolled weeds. When we live in the light, aware that we are not alone and that our existence is part of a larger plan, we can let go of fear and worry and securely seat ourselves in the verdant garden of peace, sustained by the all pervasive energy of love.
