As spirit, we are part of a larger community—a community as large as the Universe! In this community, we express this solidarity and individuality through ritual and celebration and, in many instances, these acts have coalesced into an expression named as a distinctive religion. While it is good to come together to celebrate the Creative Spirit and our place in the interdependent web, to believe in the supremacy of one religion over another, or to coerce others to join our way of thinking and believe our celebrations are the only ones that truly commune with a higher being, is to denigrate and disregard the diversity that exists within the Universe.
