When we acknowledge our connection to each other and that we are in fact part of the One, our actions and reactions toward each other take on a different level of significance. Since we are One, we are informed by the Creative Spirit to treat each other with loving and kind hearts. We are thus impelled to act with compassion and empathy, staying aware of the needs of our fellow companions on this planet and on every plane within the interdependent web. For example, when an incarnate spirit loses a loved one, we are asked to witness their grief and offer comfort. At the same time, we need to reach out to the recently transitioned spirit who now finds itself in a new form, and offer encouragement and love as it acclimates to its new surroundings.
