October 14: The Etheric Senses

While our perceptions are limited by the physical nature of our five senses, when we open the ears and eyes of the heart, we are able to discern a larger reality of which we are an integral part. On the physical plane, our spirit yearns to smell, taste, touch, see, and hear the essence of all that surrounds us in this dimension. This yearning invites us to seek a closer, more intimate relationship with those items that call to us . . . the aroma of a rose, the sound of a bird, the soft grass beneath our feet, the tart sweetness of an apple.
