Nature provides us with everything we need to live on this planet, in this physical form. When we respect the nature around us and refrain from damaging the aspects thereof, we live in harmony and grace and can depend on being nurtured by the water, land, and air, and those things that inhabit each. But, when we denigrate that which would otherwise serve to sustain us, we can find that not only is that which wishes to live in symbiosis with us in peril, we are also putting ourselves in harm’s way. When we live in peace and respect, we become a part of the synergy of the planet, and give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento)

As we journey through this incarnation, we meet many other spirits along the way, each experiencing their own physical manifestation and reacting to it in their own unique way. Some people are optimists, others pessimists. Some open themselves to the new and different, and others enjoy the consistency of routine. Some endure unspeakable hardships, and others seem to find the path peaceful and calm. In all aspects there are lessons to be learned and each is a blessing. When we base our lives in love, compassion, empathy, and kindness, we share our blessings with others, and give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento) We live in a world in which the very veracity of reality is under scrutiny and questioned moment by moment. We cannot be sure at any given point the depth of the illusion we are being presented with. Underneath it all is the truth, the essential manifestation of spirit in physical form. We are gifted a certain number of days in which to enjoy this physical manifestation and to wend our way through the myriad challenges that this world presents. In this physical/spiritual reality are the lessons we need to take home with us at journey’s end. When we embrace the idea that we are essential spirit, we can relax into the physical experience, and give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento) When life becomes too apparently difficult to meet the constant demands of the world, we need to remember that much can be gained by sitting quietly and allowing peace to fill us through meditation. In the act of releasing expectations for the moments we sit in the gap between thoughts, we can also release the stress and discomfort that builds in us that stymies our comfortable progress as we move through life. When we allow ourselves to focus on the simple and yet necessary act of breathing, we put aside all thoughts and emotions that serve to mire us in runaway monkey mind, and instead become focused on the reality of our reality. When we sit quietly in meditation, we become aware of our place in the interdependent web, and give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento) As we traverse our path in any given incarnation, we often have our heart set on one outcome, on one goal we believe we need to attain in order to feel fulfilled and happy. Sometimes our goals are of our own desires and sometimes we start to accept as our own the concept of success that society embraces. Our beliefs and circumstances shape how we move through this lifetime, but if we always try to discern the internal still small voice that is our own, and listen for guidance, we will discover that which best sustains and informs us. When we follow our own heart, we celebrate life with passion and joy, and give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. And as the idea becomes more widely accepted and believed in, the more critics question the basis for its existence. Some people believe that the 11:11 phenomenon, for example, has no mystical foundation, but instead that so many people believe in it that they have talked themselves into accepting it as real. It would be difficult to differentiate from those ideas that travel to us from the Creative Spirit and those that arise and thrive from our own needs and desires. In truth, there is no difference. When we believe in an ideal that we recognize in community, we do so within the energy of love, and give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. We, too, await the moment when the world around us goes to sleep and we are freed temporarily from our attempts to manipulate nature to suit our aesthetic and practical needs. Once again, it is time to honor nature by feeding those who need sustenance in this time of limited resources. Bird feeders supply seeds for those who so easily connect earth to sky. And we open our hearts wider to our fellow travelers upon this path who need our help to survive this barren season. In this quiet, we may regain our sense of purpose in the wider plan, becoming nurturers to nature and each other, and give thanks! Within each of us exists the beginning of the universe, that vibration that quivers in our most mindful moments. Yes, we are made of the same stuff as the stars, but we are also made of the same stuff as each other and as we tend to our own needs and wants, we need to remember that those around us are extensions of ourselves and, as such, worthy of the same respect and love we should feel for our essential being. As we walk through this day, we should remember that everything and everyone is a part of the All, and give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento) Yesterday, we embraced the idea that we could effect a positive change in this world when we all meditate or pray in love, peace, compassion, and empathy for the greater good of all. When we do so, it not only changes the possible paradigm of this plane, but all other planes at the same time. Our prayers, individual ones bolstered by the joining of the prayers in community, spread out across the interdependent web, helping to fulfill the vision of the Creative Spirit to bring all the disparate aspects of the whole into a oneness of spirit and action. When we pray together for the greater good, all things are possible, and we give thanks! Namaste! https://www.tobiehewitt.com/contact.html to join my mailing list. (Art by Joy Argento) 11-11. The number 11 embraces the concept of stability and balance, higher ideals and virtues. Thus, today, we are encouraged to examine our lives and be aware of the doorway in the illusion of time and space that the number 11 creates for us. It is a portal through which we can begin to attain a higher consciousness, a higher sense of purpose personally and in the context of the world around us. Today we must consider that we are all here together at this moment in space and time to fulfill a purpose the end result of which we can only contemplate in wonder. At 11:11 in our own time zones, we can stop for that minute and pray: “May all beings be happy. May all beings be peaceful. May all beings be safe. May all beings awaken to the light of their true nature. May all beings be free.” Today, when we send compassion, peace, and love into the world, we are acting for the greater good, and give thanks.
